Mini Demo: the World and Me

I am currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, supervised by Prof. QU Huamin. I am an awardee of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme.

I obtained my Bachelor degree of Engineering from HKUST with the Academic Achievement Medal (top 1%), with double major in Electronic Engineering and in Computer Science, and triple minor in Mathematics, in Big Data Technology, and in Humanities (honoured). I believe that academic enrichment is the core of undergraduate education, which motivates my studiousness and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary studies. I also went to ETH Zurich and Utrecht University for academic exchange.

My research interests include Data Visualization. I hope to facilitate our understanding of the world and discover hidden knowledge through mining and visualizing massive data in a refreshed perspective.

I love to explore the world and have travelled to more than 30 countries.
